Gold

I love my silver but you can't beat gold with a tan and I always go back to my favourite gold pieces in the Summer.  I picked up the gold thread with cross, knuckle duster and slim bangle with chain at the Oxfrd Circus Topshop last weekend-so many unknown, cheap brands on top of Topshop's own I had a bit of field day.  The snake is a family piece that belonged to my Granny and is probably the most treasured thing I own.  I always wear it above my elbow and love the fact it looks so current but my granny used to rock it years ago! The gold ring I bought in Kalkan in Turkey with my boyfriend 3 years ago-it's always a fail safe, fits perfectly and, best of all, reminds me of good times.

How amazing are these skull necklaces on cotton threads?  They're by Tina Lilenthal who I saw exhibiting at Treasure as part of London Jewellery Week.  They're currently for sale on Browns Focus-a snip at �20!

I think the white on neon string would be amazing on tanned skin for the summer.....

Spell and The Gypsy Collective

Who can refuse dream catchers, skateboards and piling on the hardware when the sun's shining?  Byron-bay based (my jealousy knows no bounds) bloggers and jewellery designers Spells & the Gypsy Collective post the most inspiring pics from their escapades in the sun and surf around their home town.  As soon as Spring arrives I'm a cliched sucker for denim cut offs, white lace, turquoise nuggets and Navajo jackets, so discovering their amazing blog today was pretty apt.  

Somehow, living and working London, these kid of looks just don't feel the same without a beachy backdrop-the River Thames just ain't the same sadly!  Luckily, I have Bali to look forward to in August so I'll have to save up all this vibe for then.  Trying to save all my pennies too so I can blitz those silver markets....Ahh I'm counting down the days already.

After a savagely long day on Wednesday, I get to leave work early today, practically feel like skipping the whole way home the weather is so good, so will be sitting outside my local cafe with a pile of magazines by five.  Bliss!

They're Here!!

That was quick-I normally end up waiting for weeks, if not months, for a new brand or piece to land in stores but just 2 days after blogging about Erin Wasson's Low Luv jewellery range coming to My Wardrobe and it's here!  Just as great as I imagined, I am seriously considering in investing in the knuckle ring...only problem is I can't decide on silver or gold.  My decision making skills are not my strongest point so this is proving tricky...especially when my heart really lies with the silver short chain crucifx (I love the fact it's made from hammered horse shoe nails).  If you're better at decisions than me, check out the selection at My Wardrobe
