Lara a la Mer

My new favoruite model Lara Stone looks gorgeous in this nude editorial for French Vogue of Feburary this year. Photographer Peter Lindberg succeeds in marrying the androgynous styling of the shoot with Lara's undeniable femininity, celebrating her sexuality and curves whilst still maintaining a sense of subtle mystery.

I love the abstract, floral print of this bold Oasis dress. Balenciaga in feeling, it ticks all the boxes for this season with a flirty hemline and sharp shoulders and would look amazing with a boyfriend blazer or biker and killer heels.

More boots..

I know, I know...more boots. But I couldn't resist putting these Fendi numbers on here.

Wild for Wildfox

I've been hankering after Wildfox tees for months now, but when they finally hit ASOS I couldn't decide between the Love Potion No9 tee or this rose printed one. After all the press the love potion tee has had, its no surprise its now sold out. So, decision made, and I'm rather pleased with the choice...the floral print and slouchy, oversized design gives it a bit of an 80s vibe, I can imagine Andy or Steff from The Goonies donning something like this, and will look great under a biker or blazer.

If heaven was a boot

These lace-up ice skater esque boots from Topshop are top of my wish list right now...the perfect alternative for those of us who can't stretch to Burberry's 500 suede platforms, i.e me.

Peter Dundas at Emilio Pucci

Normally the attire of yummy mummies, Emilio Pucci seems to have had a frolick in the hay bales and emerged stylishly dishevelled under new creative director Peter Dundas. Fresh from Emanuel Ungaro, Dundas has given Pucci's traditonal colour-block prints and swirled tropical bikinis a subtler make-under for fall 09, placing the fashion house at the centre of many of Autumn/winter trends. Thigh high boots, neon, sequins, leather and an abundance of fur rocked down the runway in Milan last spring, creating a thoroughly modern approach to this seasons reinvention of the 80s. The glamourous gowns and fierce tailoring was like a big budget episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, and with just as much drama. There was more than a little of the Decarnin about the show too-perhaps the master of Balmain has a competitor on his hands when it comes to edgy disco fever... Definitely one of my favourite and most inspirational runway shows for this winter.

Sass and Bide Resort collection 09/10

Wow its been a while, after 2 gorgeous weeks in the sun I'm now ready to give Fashion Me Now some much needed attention. I found these pics of Sass and Bide's resort collection on the Australian Vogue website and fell totally in love with the tribal meets rock n'roll collection. I've seen pieces of the collection but never seen their amazing look book before. Exotic prints and sumptuous textures such as feathers and velvet are given a hard edge by the lean silhouettes, angular tailoring and metal studs. Th cult Sass and Bide black rats have also been reimagined in snakeskin to tie in with the Aztec explorer feeling of the collection. If Kate Moss was to go dancing in the Rio carnival I reckon she'd wear something along these lines...
