  Couldn't get enough of these painted skulls for sale on the Venice boardwalk.

I totally fell for the City of Angels, so much so I've started a new season of Californication just to try and re-immerse myself in a little bit of Venice beach. Already hoping to plan a lengthier trip to the West Coast in the not so distant future...

I'm Back

After an amazing 2 weeks away in Spain and L.A, I'm now back on English soil and slowly returning to reality (sob sob).

Apologies for going awol for the last couple of weeks but I'm a big believer in switching off when you're away and detaching totally from the outside and online world, and just solely focusing on having the best time. Mission firmly accomplished on that one.

But, hiatus now over, I have lots of pictures from my travels which I'm looking forward to sharing with you very soon so stay tuned for a full update.

A lot is going on during the preparations for the upcoming fashion week

and styling jobs! Luckily it's not the hardest thing you could do. Not at all - I'm

just looking for fabulous clothes day and night, and it's especially not a hard job

when you in the breaks are receiving fabulous clothes like this Signum x Dandy Diary shirt!

Like everybody else, and for sure the whole fashion industry, I'm stuck with

nature floral prints these warm months but it's actually nice to wear

falling leaves instead of blooming flowers. Like you're ready

to step into the coming future!

I'm trying to color up my world these days, but it's quite damn hard when the danish summer is like the most depressing rainy day in november and all you want to do is to watch the essential Sex and the City collection once again. However, I'm glad and flirting with my new bags. God bless online shopping!

Big into blueberries/ trying out new hair brand Percy and Reed-the texturising spray and finishing polish work are ideal for my fine, flyaway hair/ the perfect tan suede boots from Office that aren't leaving my feet/ watching Friday Night Lights (better late than never I say) and reading Ghostwritten by David Mitchell (if you haven't read Mitchell's Cloud Atlas, you must/ little bit in love with my new piece of paisley Pierre Balmain/ holiday beauty shiz

Venice bound

Life has been super busy lately and those of you who follow me on Twitter will already know about one very exciting development, namely that I'm off to L.A for a week in just over 10 days time.

I've always wanted to go and, bar a mind-numbing 6 hour stop-over in LAX 5 years ago, this will be my first trip to the city of angels. I'm more than excited to be staying in Venice beach (you can probably guess why from my endless summer-themed posts and Pinterest boards!) and am hoping to see and do as much as possible while there, in between soaking up some of that much-anticpated Californian sunshine of course... 

  I know some of my readers are West-Coast based so if anyone has any hints/tips/must-sees please do get in touch and let me know... I'd love to get some insider info and hear about some of your favourite places.

Floral summer. Kind of. The Copenhagen weather is not that summer-like at all and once again I've been away from Where Fashion Is Fashion Is for a while. First of all the flu hit me a few days ago - tissues and tea all over the place - but I'm already feeling a lot better. To be honest the last month has been quite hard for me. I'm usually a very positive person who tries to look on the bright side of life, but it's not always as easy as it seems. A lot of things have been messed up, so I've been disconnecting from the world and enjoying the little things like eating a bunch of chocolate and bought an embarrassing amount of clothes, but I'm trying to get back on track again. To be real you have to pick off the withered petals before the flower can bloom again, right? Well, I have missed you guys and hopefully the next month will be more passionate and inspiring for me.
